DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to bring our Midwest Travel Network Writer’s Workshop to Visit Wichita! \nWe are excited to present the next Midwest Travel Network Writer’s Workshop. This time we’re headed to Wichita\, KS for another unique experience for our attendees. This year’s adventure will be happening October 3-6\, 2023.  \nThe AMAZING Theresa L. Goodrich will again be our workshop leader! \n\n\n\n\nAbout Our Workshop Leader\nTheresa L. Goodrich is an Emmy-winning author and content creator with a penchant for storytelling and a keen eye. She’s the founder and publisher of The Local Tourist and Your Chicago Guide. She’s also the author of multiple books\, including the Two Lane Gems series\, Living Landmarks of Chicago\, and COMPLETE Road Trip Guide (for grown-ups). In 2022\, her first novel featuring travel writer Alex Paige debuted\, and her second will be released in November.  \nTheresa has spoken at the Chicago\, Denver\, and San Diego Travel and Adventure Shows and will also appear in Los Angeles in 2023. Other speaking engagements have included many Chicago-area libraries as well as the Chicago Auto Show. She’s appeared in several Chicago media outlets\, including Crain’s Chicago\, the Chicago Tribune\, Chicagoist\, WGN\, WLUP\, and WCIU. She was one of the founding bloggers of ChicagoNow\, was the Chicago Expert for Answers.com\, and is syndicated on Microsoft Start. She’s also spoken on marketing\, motivation\, and entrepreneurship at several panels and conferences\, and was a mentor at the exclusive 2019 Bloghouse conference in Scottsdale\, Arizona. \nTheresa has led our Midwest Travel Network Writer’s Workshops in Hendricks County\, IN; Gulf Shores\, AL; Dubuque\, IA; and SE Montana/Billings and Sheboygan\, WI.
