Suzanne Stavert: Breakout Session: Traveling in Midlife and Beyond
Suzanne Stavert is redefining what it means to be an “empty nester.” Five years ago, after her children had graduated into their adult lives, Suzanne began exploring rather than settling into a quiet mid-life. She created her travel and lifestyle blog AdventuresofEmptyNesters.com to share stories, inspiration, eclectic food and to showcase hidden gems around the world. With curiosity and a desire to connect with other adventurous spirits, she has said “Yes!” to many new and exciting experiences.
Today she collaborates with cutting edge travel and tourism brands, sharing her signature enthusiasm and eye-catching photography to inspire others to plan their own travel adventures.
In just the first half of 2019, her travels take her from the tropical paradise of Maui, Hawaii to a fantastic tour of Iceland with Collette Travel as well as a culinary adventure to the Veneto in Northern Italy with Oldways. She also continues her quest to complete her goal to visit all fifty states.
