General Conference Logistics

What time does the conference start & end?

The opening session will begin about noon on Thursday, June 13—the exact time is still to be determined. There will be a food truck available to grab lunch prior to the kickoff session of the conference.

The closing Session will end around noon on Saturday, June 15.

Where will the conference be held?

The sessions on Thursday afternoon and all day Friday will be held at the Blue Gate Garden Inn & Conference Center, 800 South Van Buren Street, in Shipshewana, Indiana. The sessions on Saturday morning will be held at the Farmstead Inn, 370 S Van Buren St.

The properties are within walking distance from each other. There will also be an optional shuttle available for those who need it.

Will There Be Pre and Post Activities?

Our host destination, Visit Shipshewana, will offer pre- and post-conference local activities to give you options for excursions in the local area.

These activities are open to both content creators and destination partners. These will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. These will be only available to those who are registered for the conference. No guests, companions, or plus-ones will be permitted. There will not be any waitlists once a tour becomes full. If a tour becomes full and a spot opens, we will announce it. More information about these activities and sign-ups will come in mid-April or early May.

These pre-conference activities will be morning and afternoon of Wednesday, June 12th, and morning of Thursday, June 13th. The post-conference activities will be the afternoon of Saturday, June 15th, and on Sunday, June 16th.

Will There Be Evening Activities?

For all registered conference attendees, the below evening activities will be available.

There will be evening activity options each night, beginning with a pre-conference opportunity for a dine-around in LaGrange County on Wednesday night. More information on this to come.

On Thursday night, there will be an Indiana Makers event where you’ll meet and interact with different individual makers and businesses from across the state. Full meal and drink will be available.

On Friday evening, we will be treated to dinner at the Blue Gate Restaurant and an evening with “Bee Gees Gold – The Tribute” at the Blue Gate Performing Arts Center. Tickets for guests not registered for the conference will be available for purchase (more details to follow).

Travel & Transportation

What is the closest airport?

The closest airport to Shipshewana is the South Bend International Airport (SBN), about 40 miles away.

Will There Be Transportation To/From the Airport?

Visit Shipshewana will provide a shuttle option a couple of times a day for those arriving at the South Bend airport on Tuesday, June 11th, and Wednesday, June 12th. The shuttle option will also be available for return to the airport. We’ll contact everyone closer to the event to provide more details.

What are the options for nearby lodging?

Group blocks are being held at the Blue Gate Inn and the Farmstead Inn. You can find more information here.

Refunds & Ticket Transfers

What is the refund policy?

No refunds will be allowed for this event.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes. For a $15 administration fee, you may transfer the ticket. However, tickets are not refundable. In order to transfer your ticket, simply log into your Eventbrite account and change your name and email address to the new ticket holder’s name and address. They will then be able to log in and update any other important information. Tickets may only be transferred up to 2 weeks before the conference.
